Currently, several referents of the international mining industry are in the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), one of the most important meetings of the industry at international level.
Representatives of CAEM and Messe Frankfurt Argentina, organizers of Arminera 2019, are also present with the aim of establishing contacts, promoting the local exhibition and attracting new exhibitors and visitors.
The Argentine delegation is made up by important authorities of the public and private sector, who from the Argentine Pavilion will have the mission of promoting the Argentine mining potential for investment and project development.
Arminera's Project Manager, Ezequiel Gorbarán, says from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre: "We always come back to PDAC because it is a great shop window to promote the exhibition. We wish that more business professionals and professionals visit us in May and have a first-hand contact with the Argentine market and its potential." And he adds: "The activity in the country requires investments and the investors in time need to know our capacities: the geological potential, competitive suppliers, qualified professionals, state-of-the-art technologies and a law that follows the highest standards for the environment protection. And what a better way of doing it than in Arminera, that gathers all this Argentine offer in only three days", explained Gorbarán.
Yesterday, the activities of the first PDAC19 day focused on welcome meetings, opening and booths inauguration and a discussion panel about diversity and gender in the mining industry.
Today and tomorrow the agenda is also full of activities: there will be several presentations about investment opportunities in San Juan, Santa Cruz, Jujuy, Salta, and Catamarca, SEGEMAR lectures on Argentine minerals offer for green energies and an introduction to the legal framework for exploration and production in the lithium triangle (Chile, Argentina, Bolivia), among others. There will be a panel about the mining investor in Argentina and another one of FAPMIN, the national offer of mining goods and services provision. The Convention continues up to Wednesday, March 6.
The next edition of Arminera will be carried out on May 7-9, 2019 in Centro Costa Salguero of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM) was founded in 1991 as a result of the joint decision of the most important companies already present in the market, and with the purpose of strengthening and streamlining the potential of the mining industry. CAEM represents its members before the country’s authorities and abroad, as well as before individuals and private companies, promotes congresses, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, events and publications and encourages the exchange with public institutions and private organizations connected to mining activities, locally and abroad. The Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM) gathers all of the mining activities. It represents - in every production stage – those companies dedicated to metalliferous and non-metalliferous mining and construction materials. It also gathers the Exploration Chambers, the provincial Chambers of the industry and suppliers: from machinery manufacturers to consumer goods and services companies, as well as technical, legal and financial advisors.
