In the Mining Industry Day, it opened its doors Arminera 2019, the most important mining exhibition

With the presence of the Minister of Production and Labor, Dante Sica and the Minister of Transport, Guillermo Dietrich, it started the 12th International Trade Fair for the Mining Industry.

With the participation of 13 mining companies and more than 200 exhibitors, it started the fair organized by the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies and Messe Frankfurt Argentina.

During Arminera’s opening ceremony, the Minister of Production and Labor, Dante Sica stated: "Last year, mining grew a lot and this shows the energy the sector is having. Mining is destined to be in the next years one of the three main expansion engines of Argentine economy. This is thanks to the drive and capital that large companies are investing and the development of this suppliers’ chain that we see expressed in this fair today. Mining is going to be, is and will be one of the great engines of Argentina".

The President of the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies – CAEM, Marcelo Álvarez, said that: "The responsible and sustainable mining industry is able to motorize the development of a country. We are convinced that the competitiveness of the mining sector is regional, that all the countries together, public – private sector and with the help of communities, in a constant dialogue, are what mining needs to be a development engine".

On his part, the President and CEO of Messe Frankfurt Argentina, Fernando Gorbarán, greeted all the industry workers in their day and highlighted the effort they make to develop a sustainable mining. And he said: "we are proud to organize this exhibition totally devoted to mining, in which innovations are presented and articulation and updating spaces are offered".

Arminera also has the participation of executives from 21 mining fields, invited by the organization to take part in the suppliers meeting, thus achieving more than a thousand meetings with exhibitors.

at national and international level. There will also be training and updating programs regarding interest subjects for the sector, gathering the main national and international specialists, companies and organizations related to the mining industry.

Arminera is carried out on May 7-9, 2019 in Costa Salguero Center of Buenos Aires. The fair is organized by the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM) and Messe Frankfurt Argentina.

The exhibition is only for businessmen and professionals of the sector. With an invitation: free of charge. People under 16 years will not be admitted, even if attending with an adult.

Background information on Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM) 
The Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM) was founded in 1991 as a result of the joint decision of the most important companies already present in the market, and with the purpose of strengthening and streamlining the potential of the mining industry.
