During Arminera 2019, that will take place on May 7-9 in Costa Salguero Trade Center of Buenos Aires, the Matchmaking Program for Suppliers Development will be carried out. The aim of the activity is to gather offer and demand in a suitable environment for closing business operations. It is deemed that more than 800 meetings will take place.
The top executives of mining companies that operate locally, coming from different parts of the country, are invited by organizers to gather with the fair's exhibitors.
"The aim is to promote the relationship among people with the same interests. For this purpose, we previously create a profile of potential buyers with their requirements -whether they are services, machinery or supplies- and invite local manufacturers to take part of the meetings. After that, any of them receives an agenda of the meetings celebrated in the business center of the fair", explains Ezequiel Gorbarán, Arminera’s Project Manager.
The mining deposits we invited produce 15 different minerals. Among them, it is highlighted the predominance of lithium lately, as well as copper, silver and gold.
"The registration has had a great impact on the exhibitors' part. It is open until April 4", adds Gorbarán.
Strong drive to international projection
On the other hand, Arminera will have the 3rd International Matchmaking Program, where potential buyers from different countries of the region and the world gather with Argentine small and medium companies which are able to export.
This activity is coordinated jointly with the Argentine Agency of Investment and International Trade. "In the matchmaking programs a Page 2 Arminera 12º International Trade Fair for the Mining Industry Costa Salguero Center Buenos Aires, May 7 - 9, 2019
first dialogue is established and it can then lead to the closing of a business operation", says Gorbarán.
Arminera will be carried out on May 7-9, 2019 in Costa Salguero Center of Buenos Aires. The fair is organized by the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM) and Messe Frankfurt Argentina.

Background information on Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM)
The Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM) was founded in 1991 as a result of the joint decision of the most important companies already present in the market, and with the purpose of strengthening and streamlining the potential of the mining industry. CAEM represents its members before the country’s authorities and abroad, as well as before individuals and private companies, promotes congresses, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, events and publications and encourages the exchange with public institutions and private organizations connected to mining activities, locally and abroad. The Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM) gathers all of the mining activities. It represents - in every production stage – those companies dedicated to metalliferous and non-metalliferous mining and construction materials. It also gathers the Exploration Chambers, the provincial Chambers of the industry and suppliers: from machinery manufacturers to consumer goods and services companies, as well as technical, legal and financial advisors.
